Crock Pot Roast

 Crock-Pot Roast

Everyone has a good roast recipe, but here's another one for you to try. I've been using this one for a couple years. It's easy, inexpensive, and yummy!

Good quality roast, with fat trimmed off
Carrots, celery, onion
2 cans Golden Mushroom soup
1 packet Onion soup mix (I use Beefy Onion by Lipton)
Potatoes (I use yellow potatoes)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Make It:
Chop all of the veggies and place in a crock-pot

Wash the potatoes and cut into bite-size pieces. I leave the peel on my yellow potatoes. Place on top of veggies
Now the magic ingredient- makes such a yummy sauce!
Pour one can of soup over potatoes. Sprinkle a little of the dry onion soup mix on top
Place roast on top of potatoes and rub in remaining onion soup mix
Pour other golden mushroom soup on top of roast. Fill can 1/2-3/4 way full of water (depending on how thin you like the gravy) and pour in
Cook on low 8 hours. Then enjoy! So easy!!
